Norm's birthday and a play date for Savage

We had a fun time celebrating Norm's birthday - what a gorgeous sunny day!

Savage got to have a play date with Mom and Norm's puppy Rudy and they wore each other out running around the backyard.

Our Saturday

We took Savage to the dog park in Redmond and he absolutely LOVED it! We didn't think he liked swimming that much, but apparently when there's a tennis ball in the water it's his favorite thing to do.

Then we went to Grams' house. Savage got to run around the pasture with Layah and we sat in the sun talking with Grams. Scott and Trisha showed up with our darling nephew Cohen and we enjoyed watching him play around the house. What a great morning!

I heart my bike

A great bike ride at Saint Edward's Park in Juanita on a sunny day - what a great Sunday afternoon!

Mmmmm....Cheese and Wine!

The Cheese Festival was at Pike Place Market this weekend. We tasted many yummy (and some stinky) cheeses and found some great wines. We are so lucky to live in such a fun city!

Here we are in the wine tent!

Mother's Day

A wonderful dinner at a fantastic restaurant with our mothers! We had Mother's Day dinner with my mom and Norm, Brooksie, Dana, and Len.

A Seattle icon

Brooksie mentioned that she'd never seen the Seattle Troll, so we took a little drive out to Freemont.

My first bike injury

Paul finally got me off the nice, paved bike paths and onto some more rugged trails. I know it doesn't look like much of a scrape, but it's all I have to show for my first fall. Note to self: if the hill looks too steep, it probably is.

Entertainment

I think this is helping us get ready for the day when kids mess up our house. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed "playing with" my prize from last year's fair. I couldn't believe how much stuffing was in that thing!

The Pup is Growing!

We visited Rudy this weekend!! He is growing up so much, but still tripping over his big paws - he will surely grow into them one day. What a love bug!

Paul taught him about being a Seattle dog - Starbucks!
