Finally!

Paul has been teaching me how to snowboard for four year now. (Granted, I've only gone up to the mountain about 5 times in those years). This Saturday it clicked for me. I FINALLY rode down the hill without falling on my face (or other body part). I even got off the chairlift successfully all three times! Here I am tearing it up, with my proud husband commentating.

I ended up on my butt in this one, but at least I knew what I had done wrong...I forgot to look up the hill during my turn.

Happy Birthday!

I turned the big 2-7! Paul took me out to an amazing sushi dinner and surprised me with the most gorgeous necklace I've ever seen. I have such a loving husband!

Palm Springs

We took a trip down to Palm Springs to visit my parents. We played cards, relaxed, ate great food, and had some very important time together. It was such a wonderful trip!

Snow in Palm Springs? Well yes, if you take the tram 8,500 feet up Mount San Jacinto.

My parents, posing for a photo :)

King (and Queen) of the stump!

A trip up to the club in the golf cart.

New Year's Eve

We made it through all our Christmas celebrations and welcomed in the new year! After an incredible sushi dinner and drinks downtown, we boarded a boat to watch the Space
Needle fireworks. Happy New Year!!!

Christmas #6

At my mom's house with my darling, adorable nephew Cohen.

Opening his presents

When you tell him to say "cheese", he cocks his head to the side and smiles...so cute!

Yes, I was about to steal him from my brother and take him home with me!

Christmas #5

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Morio's house. 12 cousins/spouses, 9 aunts and uncles, 2 grandparents, and 4 dogs.

What a wonderful pair!

My dad and my husband in matching sweaters...Paul is such a trooper!

Christmas #4

Celebrating at my dad's house. What a fun time playing with Dylan and spending time with Dave and Beth.

What a thoughtful gift, "Edler est. 2009"

A stolen towel from the Hayatt on Maui...it's a long story.
