Paul bought a new mountain bike last week, so I dusted mine off and we took full advantage of today's sun and rode around Green Lake. What a perfect activity for a sunny Sunday afternoon!
My mom and Norm saved this little guy from a terrible environment. He had been rejected by his mom and the "breeders" weren't taking good care of him. He is a 5 week old Doberman puppy, absolutely sweet and as awkward as puppies get. How can you not love this face? Thanks Mom and Norm for letting me cuddle with him!
Paul took Savage to his first flyball tournament this weekend. Since I was home with the flu, Paul had someone video tape it so that I could see Sav's debut. Well, Savage sure knows how to make an entrance! He clipped the first jump, smashed into the second one, went UNDER the third jump and carried it 10 feet to the fourth jump. But look, he got his ball and brought it back to Paul! We think he just got so exited and his legs couldn't keep up. We are going to look into whether or not he's the first dog to ever go under a jump. What a goof!
After he calmed down, he did a lot of good runs and was super fast.
We went to Fado's Irish pub to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. There were TONS of people, a great Irish band, and Guinness (one of Paul's favorites). It was a wonderful way to celebrate!
Savage didn't seem to mind the mud and bark caked on his frisbee! I love that it's staying light later and we can go to the park after work - and Savage seems to love it too.
I can't believe I actually gather up the guts to do this! We had so much fun flying through the air of Kauai, over rivers and other gorgeous landscapes. There were 7 lines total, the longest one being over 950 long which was about a 30 second ride. We highly recommend trying this adventure!
